About Us
A Family Restaurant History of 60+ Years (5 Generations) of Home Made Mexican Food!
On April 1st. 1982 Rudy & Charlotte Masias along with their son's Rudy Jr, Kent and Chris opened the doors to the first Deli Cioso restaurant located at 421 S. Pratt Pkwy. A tiny 1000 sq ft building boasting 3 "lounge" style tables. What the tiny Deli Cioso lacked in space it made up in serving some of the finest Southern Colorado/Southwestern Mexican food on the front range. With business growing at an extraordinary pace the family found their current location could not meet the demands of their business.
In 1987 a move was made to a much larger and better suited location at 1217 S. Main St in Longmont. The new 8,000sq foot building (the 1217 S. Main St. location was once home to Leo's Fine Food) quickly turned from a small take-out to a full service dining, full service bar and catering facility.
In March 2008 Deli Cioso North at 1680 N. Main St.
In July 2009 son Kent, his wife Kellie and their daughter Kassidy opened the newest Deli Cioso located at 1751 Hover St. unit C-1 in Longmont (the former TCBY).
As with tradition, the new location provides fast personable service, a casual atmosphere ,easy access from 17th and Hover, plenty of parking and most of all the GREAT Mexican food Deli Cioso has been known for!
Our daily specials include our famous "Taco Azteca", mouth watering "A" or "B" Specials- Beef and Potato or Beef and Bean burrito smothered in your choice of mild med or hot green chile, "Chalupas" smothered in geen chile.
For dessert try our wonderfull Sopaipillas, or our delectable Apple or Cherry Chimis.
We didn't forget the ninos! We have a menu for the little ones too!
